About Roller Skate suppliers in China
The polyurethane wheels of modern inline skates are arranged on strips or trucks (chassis) made of plastic or light aluminum. The truck bolts the wheels in place, and on some models, the wheels can be removed and replaced. The truck is attached to a molded boot, also made of polyurethane, that holds the buckle (made of plastic, Velcro or cloth shoelaces). Some inline boot shells are leather or a combination of leather and polyurethane plastic. The brakes are made of hard rubber or polyurethane and are located on the back of the skates.
raw material
Inline skates are a product of modern technology. Advanced polyurethane, copolymer plastic, or carbon fiber Kevlar (the material used to make bulletproof vests) are used to make most inline skate shells or boots. The wheels are also made of polyurethane. Harder nylon or polyurethane plastic or steel is used for the chassis and brake components. The frame that holds the wheels can be made of aluminum, carbon fiber or titanium. Cloth or plastic foam is used to line the inside of the boot. Steel is also used for ball bearings, buckles and other accessories on the inline skates themselves.
The boot shells are made using a process called injection molding, which involves injecting polyurethane plastic into a mold, similar to making ski boots. After adding any dye to the color and letting the part cool, the injection mold pops the finished boot.
Next, insert the pads into the boot. The lining is usually made of soft cloth or plastic foam and is cut to fit the size of the boot. Once the size is correct, the lining fits into the boot. Additional parts, most of which are purchased and prefabricated, are then attached to the boot. These parts include shell cuffs, plastic or Velcro straps, metal buckles, and more.
